The Calusa Indians

The Calusa Indians have lived for hundreds of years in the terrain of the South of Florida. This terrain is very flat, without hills or elevations as you can see in the image at the left. It has not change a lot since the Calusa lived there. As you can notice, there is a lot of vegetation around the area were the Calusa Indians lived. The plants that were found there were used to get food, medicine and equipment for making canoes paddles. In that forest lived lots of animals that the Calusa Indians used to hunt for getting food like for example the slots, the tigers, and many more animals. After a while the Calusa Indians discovered that fishing was much easier than hunting and took much more less time. The river that the Calusa Indians had near had in abundance lots of fish and shellfish that provided them a whole year of food. The terrain in my opinion has not change a lot because if it is very far away from the civilization, there are not even roads near there.

I got these image from google earth
